CILT Comes of Age
Based on the principle that leaders need to get to know communities in order to nurture and lead them, CILT was founded to expose metro-area progressives to small towns and rural communities, and expose future Colorado leaders to the variety of issues in our State.  Nearly 21 years and over 550 alumni later, CILT continues to reach beyond political correctness and sound bites, and strives to be a place where future leaders come to their own conclusions, where diversity of perspective is accepted and understood, and where we learn to work together to solve problems and promote social change.

Please join the classes of 2009, 2010, and 2011 alumni for a 21st birthday Happy Hour:
Thursday, August 25, 5-7 PM
Trios Enoteca
1730 Wynkoop Street, Denver

And So Does Our Alumni
CILT alum Vicki Rottman just celebrated her 65th birthday, which makes her eligible for Medicare. For her birthday, she’d like improved Medicare for all. How better to recognize Vicki's milestone birthday then at a CILT Health Care Policy Salon?

Please join us Monday, September 12 from 6-7:30 PM at the home of Ashley and Chad Broer (CILT '04) to learn about health care policy and the impact of Health Care Reform in Colorado from Lorez Meinhold, Deputy Policy Advisor in the Governor's Office of Policy and Initiatives. Ms. Meinhold was previously the director of health reform implementation for Governor Ritter and has served as a Senior Program Officer at the Colorado Health Foundation and as Executive Director of the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative.

CILT will provide snacks, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. The cost for this salon is a $10 donation for CILT alumni and $15 for non-alumni.

Monday, Sept. 12, 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Ashley and Chad Broer's home
6640 South Fenton St., Littleton

Raising Fun, Funds, and the Dead...

Join us for drinks and food while you catch up with old friends and bid on fabulous items.
