Ever wonder what happens after the Ballot Initiative is passed? Celebrate the end of the 05 legislative session with a dialogue about the Tobacco Tax Initiative. Colorado voters voted for the Tobacco Tax Initiative in the 04 elections, which adds 64 cents per pack of cigarettes and taxes other tobacco products. The Colorado House recently considered legislation regarding the implementation of the initiative. Come hear Jean Robinson (CILT 04), with the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, discuss the Initiative's route through the legislature, along with the various ideas regarding implementation and what actually happened. Jean lives near Hampden and I-25. Please RSVP to Laura at cilt@comcast.net and directions will be given at that time. This event is open to the public.
