The Wild Trout Chapter of Trout Unlimited presents An Evening with Congressman Mark Udall and Famed Colorado Photographer John Fielder to benefit The Eagle River Preserve and the Wild Trout Chapter/ Trout Unlimited. There will be a silent auction and a program. The silent auction starts at 6 with the program at 7:30 pm. The Eagle River Preserve is an open space acquisition project in Eagle County, where a current gravel pit will be transformed into a 72-acre open space park, creating prime fishing access along the Eagle River. The price tag for this property is $12 million, and the Vail Valley Foundation has already raised over $11 million, but they need to reach their goal of $12 million by September 5th for their offer to be accepted. Tickets for the event are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. We are currently in the process of asking for Platinum ($1000), Gold ($500), Silver ($250), and Bronze ($150) Donors for our event.
