Calendar

In addition to CILT's annual statewide leadership program, the Institute has developed a wide range of programs and services including issue salons where one can discuss current issues, happy hours and networking events, alumni workshops, and social/cultural events such as theater tickets and Rockies games. Most of these events are open to the public. The actual classes, alumni workshops, and alumni retreats are reserved for CILT alumni and current class members. Click on the calendar below to learn of specific information about our programming.

Want to learn more about Referenda C& D, the budget reform initiatives on this fall's ballot? Join Adrian Miller, General Counsel and Outreach Coordinator of the Bell Policy Center, as he describes the impact of TABOR, outlines C&D and what they will and will not do, and looks into the future should C&D not pass. We are grateful for CILT supporter Celia Taylor opening her home to host this salon. Celia lives in the Park Hill neighborhood. Please rsvp to Laura Embleton at cilt@comcast.net. Directions will be sent at that time. For more information regarding Adrian and the Bell Policy Center read below.

Adrian Miller was special assistant to the President and deputy director of the President's Initiative for One America in the Clinton Administration. Before joining the White House staff in 1999, Adrian practiced law for four years with the Denver law firms of Holme Roberts & Owen and Leboeuf Lamb Green and MacRae. Adrian has a B.A. in international relations from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.

The Bell Policy Center is nonpartisan, nonprofit public policy organization that committed to making Colorado a state of opportunity for all, regardless of race or economic background. We seek to reinvigorate the debate on issues affecting the well-being of Coloradans and to promote policies that open gateways to opportunity.
