In addition to CILT's annual statewide leadership program,
the Institute has developed a wide range of programs and services
including issue
salons where one can discuss current issues, happy hours and networking
events,
alumni workshops, and social/cultural events such as theater tickets
and Rockies games. Most of these events are open to the public.
The actual classes, alumni workshops, and alumni retreats are reserved
for CILT

Progressive Majority Colorado Summer 2005 Candidate Training Schedule Training Theme: Campaign 101 - Everything You Wanted To Know About Running For Political Office But Were Afraid To Ask. Sub-Themes: Learn "How To Develop an Effective and Persuasive Message", concisely and persuasively answer the all-important question "Why Are You Running for Office?", and learn more about the "Nuts and Bolts of Campaigning".
Target Audience: Any future candidate who wants to learn more about running for political office during the next five years at the local or state level (school board, city council, mayor, county commissioner, State House, etc.) but unsure of how to get started. Spouses welcome.
Cost: $25. Makes check payable to "Progressive Majority". Fee includes continental breakfast.
