In addition to CILT's annual statewide leadership program, the Institute has developed a wide range of programs and services including issue salons where one can discuss current issues, happy hours and networking events, alumni workshops, and social/cultural events such as theater tickets and Rockies games. Most of these events are open to the public. The actual classes, alumni workshops, and alumni retreats are reserved for CILT alumni and current class members. CILT II: DIGGING DEEPER – Colorado Policy Issues and Conversations – Register by August 1

CILT is proud to present CILT II: Digging Deeper, an Advanced Class for Alumni. The overall class will provide an opportunity for long conversations in an intimate setting with some of the top people in the state on policy, leadership, and advocacy. The four weekends are Saturday and Sunday classes, with dinner on Saturday night. They will take place in Denver at a venue to be announced. Lodging is available if needed. The cost for Alumni is $500 for the four classes. An A La Carte option is available to select specific classes for $150 per class. Registration Deadline for the full program is August 1, A La Cart Registration deadlines for each class is noted below. Register by contacting Laura Embleton at cilt@comcast.net. This class is offered only to CILT Alumni.

Saturday/Sunday August 25-26 – Colorado Policy Issues and Conversations

Topics being covered are the Public Policy making, Sustainable Communities, Transportation Planning, Health Care Policy Reform and the Colorado State Budget. Speakers include Former Colorado State Governor Richard D. Lamm; Randy Udall (Aspen’s Community Office for Resource Efficiency); Jim Charlier (Charlier & Associates, a nationally recognized transportation planner and speaker); Mark Cavanaugh (Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budget); Amy Fletcher (Business Health Forum, former Health Care Reporter for the Denver Business Journal). We have 2.5 hours with each speaker, with opportunities for long, facilitated conversation. Register at cilt@comcast.net by August 17.
